This provider is recruiting nationally.

As an Adult Care Worker Apprentice at New Shepherd Care Ltd, you will support service users in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.

Supporting older and vulnerable adults with personal care, including washing, dressing, continence care and mobility.
Assisting with meal preparation and supporting individuals with their daily routines.
Prompting and, once trained and assessed as competent, administering medication.
Encouraging service users to maintain their independence, social connections and usual routines.
Completing accurate care records on the electronic care system after each visit.
Identifying and immediately reporting any concerns regarding a service user’s health, safety or wellbeing.
Following safeguarding policies and all care procedures.
