Banksman

Main Duties & Responsibilities

As a Banksman / Traffic Marshall within the PRM Team (Passengers with Reduced Mobility), successful candidates will be playing a crucial role in guiding vehicles and ensuring the safe movement of passengers with reduced mobility & acting as a customer service ambassador, ensuring passengers feel supported and cared for.

Your daily roles can include:

  • Safely marshalling Hi-Lift vehicles to and from aircraft using hand signals and established procedures
  • Driving a minibus on airport grounds
  • Assisting the driver in positioning vehicles within 2 feet of aircraft doors for safe passenger transfer
  • Coordinating with cabin crew and ground staff to ensure smooth boarding and disembarkation of passengers
  • Supporting passengers onto the aircraft, into terminal buildings, or into vehicles using safe manual handling techniques.
