About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Hydra Assistant Swimming Teachers to join our aquatics team. In this role, you’ll support our Swimming Teachers in delivering high-quality lessons to children and adults, helping them develop essential swimming and water safety skills.

This is a fantastic opportunity if you are starting out in your swim teaching career and want to gain experience, with the chance to progress into a fully qualified Level 2 Swim Teacher role.

What you’ll be doing
• Assisting Swimming Teachers in preparing and delivering lessons to the required standards.
• Supporting the delivery of lessons for people of all ages and abilities.
• Encouraging swimmers to develop their skills and progress through awards schemes.
• Helping to provide lesson feedback and progress reports under the guidance of the teacher.
• Setting up and maintaining equipment for lessons.
• Promoting a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for all swimmers.
• Carrying out administrative tasks as required and maintaining contact with on-site staff.
