Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join an OFSTED rated ‘Good’ Secondary school in Luton. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer science and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

The role is suitable for ECT and Experienced teachers. This role is a fixed-term position starting in September 2026, working 4 days a week initially until October half term with the potential to extend.

The role:

  • Delivering high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Teaching within the Maths curriculum
  • Creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively
  • Assessing and supporting student progress

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or relevant teaching qualifications and proven classroom experience
  • Recent experience teaching within UK secondary schools
  • Strong subject knowledge within your specialism
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • The right to work in the UK
