At Leonardo, we’re shaping the future of aerospace and defence with technology that protects people and communities. We’re currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join our Combat Air team in Luton. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with programme and project teams to ensure delivery of high-quality products and continuous improvement across key programmes.

Your Impact

As a Quality Engineer, you will work as part of an Integrated Project Team (IPT), collaborating across Operations, Engineering, and other key functions to:

Provide guidance and support on all Quality Assurance and Quality Control matters.
Contribute to the delivery of compliant, high-performance products that meet cost and safety requirements.
Develop and align Project Assurance Plans (PAPs) with programme risks, opportunities, and improvement priorities.
Help drive achievement of Leonardo Production System (LPS) quality goals, including KPIs related to Quality Notifications, MRBs, FRBs, etc.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across production, engineering, and quality workflows.
Participate in key meetings across departments to ensure alignment on quality standards and objectives.
Oversee and support the timely processing of concessions and production permits.
Assist in preparing reports and quality data for programme and functional leaders.
Support efforts to reduce Non-Conformance costs and improve root cause resolution.
