Support Worker
We’re looking for compassionate Support Workers to help adults with Learning disabilities within the supported living service. Using a strengths-based approach, you’ll support Adults in supported living service —focusing on wellbeing, daily living skills, and personal care.
You’ll assist with care planning, promote independence, and provide hands-on support, including medication administration and use of specialist equipment. Working closely with professionals and services, you’ll contribute to assessments and ensure the right support is in place.
Strong communication, accurate record-keeping, and a flexible, person-centred mindset are essential. Various part-time hours are available, and shifts may include evenings, weekends, and other times as required. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is reliable, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality support.

About you
We’re seeking dedicated Support Workers who are passionate about promoting independence, dignity, and choice for individuals with care needs. You’ll support people in accessing a variety of community services and activities, while caring for their physical, emotional, and social wellbeing.
You’ll act as an advocate for those you support, ensuring their voices are heard throughout their care experience. Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll engage with individuals, families, and professionals in a range of settings.
This role involves working flexibly across locations, including weekends, bank holidays, sleep-ins, and waking night duties. You’ll be part of a supportive team, contributing to a positive, inclusive environment, and ready to respond in emergency situations.
We’re looking for someone who can support new staff, identify discrimination, and take appropriate action. You should have some knowledge of the needs of people with learning disabilities and a willingness to gain a QCF Level 3 in Care.
Applicants must be comfortable with manual handling (after training) and be able to communicate fluently and effectively in spoken English with the public.
