Early Years Practitioner

A free, 5 week course suitable for anyone interested in becoming an early years practitioner. It will give you a taste of the skills and knowledge required for this profession and guide you on your next steps to becoming an early years practitioner. This is not a qualification course so there are no entry requirements for it, but you will receive a certificate of attendance.

How is this course delivered?

This course is delivered face to face in Arndale House.

What will I learn?

  • Keeping children safe

  • Physical care needs

  • Next steps available to you to becoming an early years practitioner.

There are no specific requirements to join this course, other than a basic level of English. In terms of ESOL English, you should be working at Entry Level 3 as a minimum.
