ESOL

If you are looking at improving your communication skills and English is not your first language, you need to come to an ESOL course. ESOL courses help learners with everyday life conversations, looking for jobs or for further studies. Our courses have been designed and developed for people who live and work in the UK or have moved to the UK from another country. If you need to improve your English to communicate at home, in the community, at school, or at work come and join an ESOL class. You will be in a class with other learners at the same or similar level as you and will practise reading, writing, speaking and listening. You will take an exam, if you are ready, at the end of the course.

Check if you’re eligible to attend our ESOL classes.

Initial Assessment

If you want to join an ESOL class, you will need to have an initial assessment first. This assessment with your teacher will help us put you on a course that is best suited to your needs. Please email info@lutonacl.ac.uk and we will arrange for you to come in for an initial assessment.

Please contact us if you would like to:

  • Ask about fees and duration of the course
  • Ask about enrolment, eligibility and the documentation you need to provide

If you are an Asylum Seeker, you are eligible for a free course once you have been in the UK for 6 months.

You can also join this course for free if you earn under £26,800 gross per annum. You will need to provide evidence for this in the form of wage slips.
